In advance of 2012 Democratic National Convention – deemed a “National Special Security Event” by the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security – a special training course for first responders and frontline responders will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012.
The training course will feature two leading international experts on protection and security, and is intended to increase the awareness of security staff, law enforcement, and emergency medical and other first responders in handling an emergency event at a “soft target venue”.
The Frontline Responder Course was developed in association with the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security by the Center for Workforce Development at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
