Why Is Washington DC So Dysfunctional

Neil Barofsky, former Inspector General for the TARP program, tells Business Insider why things in our nation’s capital have gotten so crazy.

Bottom line: Barofsky said the incentive structure in our nation’s capitol is  all wrong. There’s a revolving door between bureaucrats in Washington and Wall  Street banks, and politicians just want to keep their jobs.

As a former Federal healthcare lobbyist, I know bad things have gotten in DC since the mid-1990s.  It is too bad since every citizen and voice should have a say on the important issues that Members of Congress and the Regulatory Bureaucracy are deciding on every day.
